We’re a team of expert mixologists and charismatic, professional buff butlers who bring personality, confidence, and just the right amount of cheekiness to every event. It’s all about creating an atmosphere that’s fun, stylish, and completely unforgettable.
Founded in 2019 in Falkirk, Scotland, we have grown into one of the leading hen party specialists across the whole of the UK, with our team expanding year on year.

Every buff butler on our roster is hand-picked directly — no agency middlemen — and chosen for charisma, professionalism, and the ability to read a room before he's even put his apron on. Every host is vetted in person and every booking is covered by full public liability insurance. But the real difference is what happens once they arrive: we're games-first by design. We've learned over thousands of bookings that cocktails alone are forgettable — what makes a hen night unforgettable is the energy of the room. So every Extreme Measures booking is a fully hosted experience, with a hen-party-tested games programme built into every package and a host who knows how to get a group of strangers laughing and properly involved within the first ten minutes.

The Team
Our Founder
Born and raised in Falkirk, Tate founded Extreme Measures in 2019 after spotting a gap nobody else in the industry was filling — hen parties in the UK deserved better than a guy turning up in an apron and standing back. From the first booking he built the company on three principles that still run it today: games-first hosting, butlers picked for personality not just looks, and a no-middlemen approach that lets him personally vouch for every host on the roster.
There's more to the operation than aprons and party games. Tate holds a Master's degree with distinction in Mechanical Engineering — which is to say, the spreadsheets behind the business are in safe hands. In 2025 he was a finalist on Big Brother UK, where his pitch to viewers was straightforward: bring the party to the house, get everyone chatting, and run a few daft games. The same formula, in other words, that has powered Extreme Measures from the start.
He still personally interviews and trains every new butler before they take a booking, and runs events himself across the busiest weekends of the year. Outside work, you'll find him at the gym, where he also helps people get in the best shape of their life via his coaching service.
Our Hosts
Every buff butler and mixologist on the Extreme Measures roster is hand-picked directly by Tate — no agency, no middlemen, no cattle calls. We hire for charisma first, fitness second, and a sense of humour third (and we don't really hire unless all three are there). Every host is fully vetted, trained on our games programme, and covered by full public liability insurance for every booking. Most of our hosts have been with us for 4+ years, which is why our regulars often request the same butler back when a friend's getting married — once a group meets one of our team, they remember.
